Police say a traffic stop initiated due to a vehicle speeding through the town of Seneca Falls resulted in a DWI arrest.
Nathaniel Barton, 41, of Ithaca was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over 0.08, speed in zone, and failure to notify DMV of an address change.
He was stopped after police observed Barton speeding on Ovid Street. Investigation determined that he was intoxicated.
He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date in Seneca Falls Town Court.
