A former substitute teacher from Penn Yan will spend two years in prison following a guilty plea in federal court.
Jeffrey Maciejewski, 26, was sentenced to two years in prison, and five years post-release supervision.
He was arrested following an investigation in May 2019. Prosecutors said a search was executed of a home in California.
Maciejewski was accused of trading child porn on several websites including Live.me and Kik. He was just one of the individuals involved in the overall trade of child porn.
He admitted to it while being interviewed by investigators. That prompted a closer look at a cloud storage service operated by Maciejewski, which turned up hundreds of videos and images.
Maciejewski will have to pay $15,000 in restitution, and also register as a sex offender upon release.
