The Links at Greystone in Walworth opened its first-ever tubing hill. And it opened just in time for winter break.
Dusty Odenbach, part-owner of the golf club, says it’s normally a driving range in the summer.
“We broke ground at the end of August and our goal was to be open by Christmas break,” said Odenbach. “There was a couple of headaches with logistics, and weather kind of set us back, but you know it’s been a fun journey and here we are.”
He says the addition of the tubing hill has been a great addition to the property because it gives it a reason to stay open during the winter.
“If it’s a long winter, we will be open here. We catch a thaw and a nice spring and the golf course opens. And I’m sure there will be times in April where we will see golf and tubing at the same time, which will be pretty wild,” added Odenbach to 13WHAM-TV.
Times can be reserved at their website.
