Officials in Waterloo want to see to it that several streets receive upgrades in 2020.
The village is seeking bids for this summer’s water and road upgrades. There are two contracts up for grabs, as result of the pending work.
One is for replacing aged cast-iron water lines and hydrant valves on a portion of Washington Street on the south side of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and related storm sewer replacements on Illick, Lincoln and Grove streets, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The other part is for water system upgrades and road resurfacing on Disbrow Avenue off of Swift Street.
Bids are due by March 4th at 11 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. respectively for parts one and two.
