A church in Wayne County is being sued as part of the wave of lawsuits filed under the Child Victims Act.
The lawsuit was filed on Friday, and it named St. Anne’s Church, known now as Parish of St. Katharine Drexel.
One of the pastors, identified in the suit as Father Francis Vogt, is said to have sexually assaulted a South Carolina man at the church while he was an alter boy.
Vogt has been named in a series of lawsuits.
