Good news for taxpayers in Wayne County: Renovations at the County’s William Street facility are wrapping up months ahead of time, and the project came in under budget.
Both the first- and second- floors were overhauled. Some departments have had the opportunity to move back into the space, while others are expected to move in this week.
A grand opening is going to be held in the spring. A date has not yet been selected.
Budget for the project was $6.5 million. It wasn’t expected to be completed until spring.
