First responders from around Bath were called to a house fire on Halsey Street around 11 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
However, all occupants were able to escape. First responders were also able to contain the fire to two rooms of the house.
One of the occupants sustained cuts to his hands breaking out a window in an attempt to save pet cats.
He was treated at the scene by Bath Volunteer Ambulance.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family. Bath Electric Gas Water and Sewer was called to turn off the utilities to the home. Bath Village Police were also on scene.
The Steuben County Fire Investigation Team responded to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
That investigation is still ongoing.
