W-FL Friday: Wayne captures 3rd straight East title; Pal-Mac girls top Waterloo in Valentine’s thriller

The Wayne Eagles captured their third consecutive Finger Lakes East title with a 20-point home win over the Penn Yan Mustangs on Friday night. Tyler Reynolds scored a game-high 30 points to lead the way for the Eagles.

On the girls side, the Pal-Mac Red Raiders pulled out a three-point road win over the Waterloo Indians despite Macy Carr’s big fourth quarter. Carr hit four three pointers and scored 13 points all in the final quarter, overall she finished with 20. Katie Smyth scored 25 points to lead the way for the Red Raiders. With a win over the Penn Yan Mustangs next Wednesday night, Pal-Mac will clinch the outright Finger Lakes East championship.
