The Lyons Lions girls took over first place in the Wayne County standings after beating the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles at the Atwood Gymnasium on Tuesday night. Caiden Crego scored a game-high 19 points to lead the way for Lyons. With the win, Lyons improved to 14-3 and Clyde-Savannah fell to 11-6 with the loss.
On the boys side, the Geneva Panthers five-game winning streak was snapped after a 3-point loss to the Greece Odyssey Leopards.
Also on the girls side, the Red Creek Rams picked up a 14-point road win over the East Rochester Bombers. Isabella Wilbur, a Junior at Red Creek, recorded a triple-double. She was just two steals shy of a quadruple-double. Wilbur had 30 points, 10 assists, 11 rebounds, 1 block and 8 steals.
