The three puppies who were found in the middle of the road in Steuben County are officially up for adoption.
They were found on January 15th by a Good Samaritan. The owner of the puppies couldn’t be found.
When the dogs arrived to the shelter they were cold, wet, and covered in tickets.
Two of the puppies had previously broken their legs, and all three had coccidia, tiny single-celled parasites that live in the wall of a dog’s intestine.
The animals are recovering in private foster homes and are expected to make a full-recovery.
