The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 39-year-old Ontario woman following the investigation of a suspicious condition at a Pit Stop convenience store.
Mellissa Stoll, 39, of Ontario was located in the driver’s seat of her vehicle slumped over the steering wheel with the vehicle in drive when deputies arrived.
She was put through field sobriety tests and deputies eventually requested a drug recognition expert.
When that deputy arrived – they confirmed that Stoll was operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs.
She was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and transported to the Wayne County Jail. She was released on an appearance ticket.
The charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
