The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man following a disturbance in mid-January.
Gregory Parish, 37, of Lyons was arrested around 11:45 a.m. on February 7th following the incident, which prompted investigation on January 21st.
Parish was charged with third-degree assault.
Deputies say after an argument at his residence – Parish punched a Savannah man in the face. He caused facial contusions and a chipped tooth.
The victim was transported to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, then transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
He was later released. Meanwhile, Parish was released on an appearance ticket. He’s due in Lyons Town Court on February 18th.
