Traffic restored after railroad crossing arm gets stuck in Seneca Falls

Crews were working to fix a railroad crossing arm, which was stuck down on Route 414 in Seneca Falls around 2 p.m.

Traffic officials reported the road closed around 2:30 p.m., with potential for the road to remain closed for two hours. However, about 30 minutes later the road was reopened.

It’s unclear what caused the arms to fail.
