Things are going well if you ask the folks who run Del Lago Resort & Casino in Tyre.
CEO Brent Stevens told the Finger Lakes Times that the casino is meeting its benchmarks. A recent report highlighted a $270 million economic impact to the region.
“Our economic and fiscal impact study has shown that we are fulfilling New York state’s vision of spurring local economic activity by generating revenue and creating rewarding, higher-than-average wages across all industries in the area,” Stevens told the Finger Lakes Times.
Altogether Del Lago is said to have generated $157 million in gaming revenue, and $113 million in non-gaming revenue. They also generated around 1,700 jobs, according to the report.
The study and report was conducted by Camoin Associates of Saratoga, who was contracted by Lago as a third-party vendor.
