Trump administration cracks down on quick travel programs in New York in response to Green Light Law

Want to cross the border quickly?

The federal government is cracking down on programs in New York State that allow residents to quickly cross between the northern border.

The move comes after the state blocked federal immigration authorities from accessing driving records and vehicle-registration data.

It’s a response to the Green Light Law, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.

The federal plan impacts five Trusted Traveler Programs, which include NEXUS, Global Entry, SENTRI, and FAST.
