The Newark man accused of exchanging child pornography while working at a business in Seneca Falls was sentenced to jail this week.
Seneca County First Assistant District Attorney Dave Mashewske said Robert Heck, 66, was sentenced to six months in the county jail after pleading guilty to possession of a sexual performance by a child, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The 66-year-old was arrested last summer following an investigation into the exchange of child porn.
The Sheriff’s Office said that they were assisted by the FBI on the investigation. Heck will serve 10 years probation after his 6-month jail term.
He’ll have to register as a sex offender.
