Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man following an investigation into contact between two parties in an order of protection.
Douglas Eggers, 48, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after he violated a non-contact order that was issued against him.
Henderson says Eggers used a third-party to make contact with the protected party, which was a violation of the order.
He was arraigned in Ontario County CAP court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
