The search for two people as part of the investigation into a shooting last week is underway.
Police in Geneva stopped short of calling the two suspects, but did note that they were persons of interest.
Officers were called to Geneva General Hospital, where a shooting victim had been dropped off. That person, who was undergoing treatment by the time officers arrived, had to be transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
In the last official news release from the Geneva Police Department they noted the injuries sustained in the shooting were life threatening, but noted that the victim was not cooperating with investigators at the time.
No names have been released, and it’s not clear at this point if law enforcement know exactly where the shooting occurred.
