State Police have identified the woman who was found dead alongside State Route 104 on Monday.
Troopers say Anne L. Gilley, 64, was found by a passing motorist.
She was seen by a passing motorist around 3 p.m.
The roadway was closed for approximately three hours as investigators combed the scene and spoke with local residents and businesses.
It’s not clear how the body wound up in the ditch, but investigators say the case remains open.
The Wayne County Coroner is working to determine a cause of death.
