Cornell bounces back with 5-3 win over Princeton

Junior forward Tristan Mullin scored two of the Cornell men’s hockey team’s three power-play goals on Saturday in a 5-3 victory over Princeton at sold-out Hobey Baker Rink.

Cornell (15-2-4, 10-2-2 ECAC Hockey, 6-1-1 Ivy League), which entered the weekend ranked #1 in the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls, also got goals from junior defenseman Alex Green, sophomore forward Max Andreev and freshman forward Ben Tupker in a game riddled with penalties. All three goals from Princeton (3-14-4, 1-10-3, 0-5-1) came on the power play, with the Big Red only conceded nine shots on goal at even strength.
