Driver had BAC of .30, nearly hit two marked patrol cars in Wayne County

The Macedon Police Department says that on January 26th at approximately 10:30 p.m. a 58-year-old driver was taken into custody with a BAC of 0.30.

Albert American Horse Jr., 58, of Macedon was observed driving without headlights, operating along State Route 31.

Police say he nearly hit an oncoming State Police vehicle. Prior to the traffic stop occurring – he passed another marked patrol car in the midst of a traffic stop – and nearly struck it.



Horse was stopped and an investigation ensued. He was found to have a BAC of 0.30. He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, no headlights, failure to move over, and aggravated unlicensed operation.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and the charges will be answered at a later date.
