Voters will decide on expansion at Seneca Falls fire hall that could cost $1.95M

Voters are going to decide whether an expansion will happen at the Seneca Falls Fire Department this year.

A special referendum is set for 6 to 9 p.m. February 25th at the 2528 Lower Lake Road east fire station.

The vote will decide whether money can be borrowed to build an addition at the fire station located at 43 W. Bayard Street.

A board of fire commissions voted to spend upwards of $1.95 million to build an addition on the house. The plan would use $400,000 of the district’s funds to borrow upwards of $1.55 million.
