The annual ‘Ice Bar’ in Watkins Glen kicked off Thursday night and had people moving and grooving.
Outside the Harbor Hotel featured numerous ice bars, sculptures, and games like tabletop ice hockey and corn hole. While inside, people could enjoy local food, wine, and craft beer, according to WENY-TV.
You want to come out here to see these amazing sculptures, how they’re lit up it’s just phenomenal,” said Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce Tourism and Marketing Manager, Paul Thomas to WENY. “Everyone has a good time. Dancing, you got the drink luge so they pour the beverage down the luge and you get to have a sip of that. Of course it supports the Red Cross. Everyone should support the Red Cross. They’re such a good organization and it’s so necessary.”
Tickets for Saturday are sold out. The event will also take place on Friday.
