Deputies say that a 40-year-old Newark man was taken into custody on a weapon charge following an investigation into a December incident.
Dwight Williams, 40, of Newark is accused of threatening a woman with a butcher’s knife on December 16th.
He’s also accused of punching and kicking the victim in the ribs – causing them to break.
Deputies say that Williams was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
