The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, January 30th at 5:00 PM to celebrate the grand opening of Fall Street Brewing Company in Seneca Falls, NY, located at 106 Fall Street.
Fall Street Brewing Co., home of Finger Lakes Kombucha, is owned and operated by Seneca Falls native, Brad Luisi-Ellis and his wife, Anna. These young entrepreneurs started selling their kombucha tea at famers markets in 2018, and opened doors in downtown Seneca Falls in 2019—after extensive renovations from Brad himself! Months of preparation and a Farm Brewery License later, Fall Street Brewing Co. becomes the eighth brewery currently operating in Seneca County, and joins a network of over 400 New York breweries. But it’s not just a beer brewery—it is Seneca County’s only kombucha brewery. Since Fall Street Brewing Co. operates on such a small scale, quality is the focus of each batch.
“It feels like we had a divine hand guiding us,” stated Brad. “Everywhere you are, that’s where you’re meant to be. If we didn’t get delayed on selling beer, we wouldn’t have coffee,” which is now a large part of Fall Street Brewing Co.’s identity as a multidimensional craft beverage café. Brad acknowledged that he still has more to learn, but what he has learned is to be creative to find solutions to the challenges that come up along the way.
Fall Street Brewing Co. has made a commitment to source at least 60% of their ingredients from New York. Not only that, but as a Mynderse Academy graduate himself, Brad has “a lot of social and emotional stock in this community”. Brad and Anna both have teaching backgrounds and are committed to the arts. In the future, they plan to give back in some way to the Seneca Falls School District’s Music and Arts Program. “We just want to give this town a little nudge; we want to make everyone proud.”
