Cayuga County man pleads guilty to violating protective order, to spend 1-3 years in prison

An Auburn man is expected to spend between one and three years in prison after violating an order of protection, and admitting to doing so in Cayuga County Court.

Lee Potter, 30, pleaded guilty on Tuesday two one count of first-degree criminal contempt, with a prior offense.



Potter elected to move forward in the plea bargaining process with the judge, his attorney, and prosecutor DA Jon Budelmann in a conference.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 14th.
