Waterloo driver ticketed after two-car crash in Bloomfield

On Monday the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded with East Bloomfield Fire and Ambulance to the area of Main Street and Oakmount Avenue for a reported two-car crash.

Harley Hartman, 23, of Waterloo was said to be traveling west on Main Street when she attempted to make a left turn onto Oakmount Avenue.

Deputies say that by doing so, she turned in front of the second vehicle, which was being operated by Daryl Rathbun, 64, of Bloomfield.

Rathbun was treated at the scene, and the road was temporarily closed. He was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for further treatment.

Deputies say Hartman was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
