There were just two Wayne-Finger Lakes basketball games on Saturday because two of them were cancelled due to the snow storm.
For the girls, the Lyons Lions won their ninth consecutive game after defeating the Romulus Warriors by four points. Caiden Crego, a senior at Lyons, scored a game-high 30 points. Lyons improves to 10-2 while Romulus falls to 7-4.
For the boys, the Honeoye Bulldogs picked up a four-point road win over the Bloomfield Bombers. Jack Reynolds led the way for the Bulldogs with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Honeoye is now 9-4 after their fourth straight victory and Bloomfield falls to 5-7 with the loss.
