Sophomore forward Kobe Walker (Lloydminster, Alberta/Lloydminster Bobcats) tallied the Tigers lone goal, as the RIT (11-9-3, 7-6-3-0-1) men’s hockey team suffered a 6-1 loss at No. 14 Arizona State University (14-8-3, 0-0-0) Friday evening.
ASU got on the board first as Sophomore forward Jordan Sandhu scored off an assist from Johnny Walker following an interception.
RIT evened the score in the second period off a goal from Walker. RIT finished the second period tied 1-1.
The Sun Devils scored four goals in a 2:17 span in the third period. Freshman defenseman Jacob Semik and Walker scored back-to-back fashion.
