Former Congressman Chris Collins will spend upwards of two years in prison after being sentenced on Friday.
It was part of his insider trading case, which involved a guilty plea.
He admitted to a pair of felony charges, and was sentenced to 26 months in prison.
Collins’s attorneys have requested he serve his sentence in a Florida minimum-security prison.
Collins’s son, Cameron, and Stephen Zarsky, are expected to be sentenced next week.
