A local music store is looking for a deal.
Speno Music Inc., is the business, and it’s operated on Genesee Street since it was found in 1948. That said, the business has been delinquent on property taxes since 2009, according to The Citizen, who reported on the matter this week.
Now, Auburn City Council could vote on an agreement that would give the business additional time to pay off the $85,000 owed in delinquent property taxes.
The deal would allow the business to pay off its balance over the next decade, at 3 percent interest.
