The Waterloo Police Department is investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles, which occurred in late-2019.
The exact date of the thefts is said to be December 29th, according to the Waterloo Police Department. Those thefts lasted into the morning of December 30th.
“The general area targeted appears to be between Main Street and North Road on the north side of the Village,” police said in a press release.
Anyone with information about the incidents should call (315) 539-2022.
They said that if anything was missing, or moved inside your vehicle, or if things were found around your vehicle out of place – a call to Waterloo Police should be made.
Additionally, if anyone noticed any suspicious persons around their vehicles, police should also be contacted.
“Residents are also reminded to secure their vehicles at all times. It is a good practice to not leave valuable objects in view inside your vehicle or outside your home to deter random thefts,” police concluded.
