Yates County is moving in the right direction, according to Moody’s Investors Service.
Their credit rating was recently upgraded to Aa3 from A1.
The upgrade affects the county’s $2.6 million outstanding debt, all of which is rated by Moody’s, according to the Chronicle-Express.
Tax base expansion, and improve resident wealth are factors that have an impact on overall credit rating.
