While there were reports of some mixed precipitation during the morning hours – the entire region should see that changeover to rain. If you’re on the road this morning, be on the lookout for some slick spots.
FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil provided an update on what he expects the region to see this weekend.
He said temperatures will rise into the 40s overnight tonight, with gusty winds, and rain building in by morning. Gusts over 40 mph will be possible. By the time Saturday arrives – temperatures will again push upward.
Daytime temperatures will be in the 50s, with the potential for heavy rain.
By overnight hours into Sunday – temperatures will push toward 60 degrees. A couple fronts that arrive throughout the day will push temperatures downward, but even then, will only get them into the 40s.
The National Weather Service shows temperatures throughout the week staying above normal. Stay tuned for the latest on that by checking out the FingerLakes1.com Weather Center.
