Christensen takes the bench in Penn Yan

Penn Yan Village Court welcomed a new justice to start 2020.

Michael Christensen was appointed to the post on December 17th after the resignation of Matthew Conlon, according to The Chronicle-Express.

District Attorney Todd Casella tells the Express that the Penn Yan Village Court is the busiest in Yates County.

Here’s how the schedule will look:

– Criminal cases to be hard on Mondays at 9 a.m.
– Vehicle and traffic cases on Mondays at 10:30 a.m.
– Civil cases on first- and third Mondays at 4:30 p.m.
