Felony arrest made after Schuyler traffic stop

On January 7th around 1:24 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Railroad Street in Odessa after they observed vehicle and traffic violations.

Deputies utilized a K-9 to find narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, a set of brass knuckles, and drug paraphernalia.

Amber Cosgrove, 38, of Pine Valley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation, and other traffic violations.

Michael Depue, 45, of Elmira Heights was charged with criminal possession of a weapon – a felony – and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were issued appearance tickets to be returned to court.
