Assemblyman Manktelow announces re-election bid on New Years Day

Assemblyman Brian Manktelow, of Lyons, is seeking another term.

He announced in a press release saying that he would seek another term in 2020. The Republican was elected to the 130th District in 2018 to succeed retiring Assemblyman Bob Oaks.

His district includes all of Wayne County, and the norther part of Cayuga County. It also includes the towns of Hannibal, Minetto and Oswego in Oswego County.

“It has been my sincere pleasure to represent my constituents in Albany and help with issues closer to home,” Manktelow said. The Republican was also endorsed by the Conservative, Independence and Reform parties. “I have enjoyed getting around the district to meet so many of the people who live and work here. It is truly a privilege to hold this office and learn about what is important in the 130th District and take those concerns to Albany.”
