Police: Man charged with resisting arrest after downtown Canandaigua incident

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 34-year-old following an investigation into a disturbance on South Main Street.

Police were called to a business on South Main Street around 5:17 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Houston Fountiane, 34, who had no permanent address at the time, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

After officers were called to the scene, he was observed exposing himself and urinating on a sidewalk in front of a local business.

The business was not identified. Fountaine was committed to the Ontario County Jail.
