Not quite on schedule, but still coming together just fine.
That’s the takeaway from a Finger Lakes Times Q&A report, as they look at the City Hall elevator project in Geneva.
General contractor Massa Construction is handling the elevator addition and stair tower. The Times noted that it was supposed to be ‘substantially finished by January 29th’.
However, Public Works Director Mark Perry told the Times that it didn’t appear to be likely. “But it shouldn’t be long after that,” he added.
Some interior renovations are also being completed. Completion of the project is still set for April 20th.
The project is a $1.5 million effort to help with access and compliance issues the building faced before.
