A Penn Yan man was arrested on multiple charges after an alleged domestic incident in the town of Benton on Friday.
Deputies say Stephen Weaver, 40, fought with officers on-scene a ta home on Lovejoy Road.
The incident unfolded shortly after 7 p.m., according to deputies.
Weaver was charged with seven counts of second-degree criminal contempt, as well as one count of resisting arrest.
Weaver was allegedly violating an order of protection at the time of the domestic incident, which prompted officers to respond.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
No injuries were reported by deputies.
