Deputies: Groton man damaged roadside stand in Dundee, captured in Schuyler County

The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Groton man was taken into custody in Schuyler County after causing damage to a roadside stand in Dundee.

Daniel Samson, 35, of Groton is accused of causing damage to a stand in the village of Dundee on Tuesday.

Deputies were given a description of the damage done, as well as the suspect’s vehicle, and a short time later – he was located in Schuyler County.

Deputies say Samson was turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office and charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief.

Both charges will be answered in Dundee Village Court at a later date.
