Police: Newark man was driving through city of Canandaigua without headlights

Police say that a 32-year-old Newark resident was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on December 9th in the city of Canandaigua.

Police charged Cassius Wright, 32, of Newark for aggravated DWI following the traffic stop on Niagara Street where he was stopped for operating a vehicle without headlights.

The traffic stop occurred at 12:54 a.m., according to police.

They say Wright also had a suspended registration. He was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges at a later date in city court.
