A Clifton Springs driver has been accused of passing a school bus and driving without a license or interlock device after an incident on State Route 96 this week.
Deputies say Margaret Lamotte, 72, of Clifton Springs was taken into custody without incident – and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving without an interlock device, passing a stopped school bus, as well as criminal impersonation.
Lamotte is accused of passing a stopped school bus on State Route 96 in Manchester on Thursday around 2:35 p.m.
Deputies say Lamotte was processed at the Ontario County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
