An Auburn driver was ticketed after crash along County Road 5, which happened during the late-morning hours in the town of Seneca.
Deputies say that around 10:07 a.m. they were called to a personal injury motor vehicle accident in the area of County Road 5 and Rilands Road.
Both Stanley Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance were also called to the scene.
Police say that Maryclare Gentile, 22, of Auburn was traveling south on County Road 5 – south of Rilands Road – when she lost control of the vehicle.
The Honda Accord Gentile was operating then struck a guide rail alongside the roadway. She was taken to Geneva General Hospital with a head injury, according to deputies.
Deputies say she was ticketed for unreasonable speed due to condition of the roadway. The charge will be answered in Seneca Town Court.
