A Penfield couple is dealing with the insurance fallout from a piece of ice that came flying off a box truck, and crashing into their windshield.
It happened on Dec. 3 as the couple was traveling on I-490 East in Penfield, and the couple caught it all on camera. If this ever happens to you, News10NBC learned it could come out of your pocket.
“It’s something else, it really is,” Nicole Blue said.
Blue, and her partner, AJ Zeiner say they are still not sure what to make of what they had just seen. In dash cam video, you could see them traveling east on I-490 near the 441 exit, when a textbook sized-piece of ice came flying off the roof a nearby box truck.
