Deputies say that a Lyons man was arrested on felony charges after attempting to transport a substance that tested positive for cocaine, fentanyl and tramadol into the Wayne County Jail.
Calvin Sincerbeaux, 30, of Lyons was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband, a Class D felony.
It is alleged that Mr. Sincerbeaux brought in, and possessed eight glassine bags with a powdery substance while inside the booking area of the Wayne County Jail.
The incident, which initially happened on August 20th resulted in the substance being tested. Lab results recently were returned, and felony charges filed against Sincerbeaux.
He’s due in court on January 7th to answer the charge.
