Investigators are asking for the public’s help after a deadly shooting in the Town of Newfield early-Saturday.
Dejour Xavier Gandy, 29, was found deceased by deputies who responded to the scene after reports of shots fired at the residence.
Deputies say he was gunned down by three suspects who entered the home around 1:30 a.m.
Investigators are asking Newfield residents with exterior surveillance camera systems in the areas of Shaffer Road, Pearl Street, and Main Street to contact them through the Tompkins County Emergency Response Center at (607) 273-8000, according to The Ithaca Voice.
New York State Police and the Ithaca Police Department remain involved in the investigation.

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting, which left one person dead in the town of Newfield early Saturday.
Around 1:26 a.m. deputies responded to the report of a shooting. When they arrived – Dejour Xavier Gandy, 29, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
According to the Ithaca Voice, another person who was inside the home at the time, contacted 911 and reported the incident.
The Voice reports that a witness told police that three black males with face coverings entered the home and confronted the victim with guns drawn, one of which shot at the victim before all three fled the scene.
The incident is believed to be isolated, according to deputies. They don’t believe there is a risk to the public at this time.
