Police: Seneca Falls teen charged with rape, endangering welfare of child

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of an 18-year-old resident following a rape investigation.

Joseph Deal, 18, of Seneca Falls was charged with second-degree rape, a Class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He’s accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with an individual under 15-years-old.



Deal was processed and released on his own recognizance. He’s scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court to answer the charge.

An order of protection was issued against Deal protecting the victim, according to police.
