Deputies report the arrest of a Webster man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Robert Sawyer, 60 of Webster was charged with first-degree criminal contempt following the investigation, which unfolded in Wayne County.
Deputies say Sawyer contacted a protected party, identified as a Wayne County woman, multiple times over the course of two months. They say he contacted her via telephone, resulting in the investigation and charges.
An active order of protection was in place, resulting in the felony contempt charge.
Deputies say additional proceedings are scheduled for Williamson Town Court.
