After a treacherous Sunday morning commute because of the ice storm, WENY News is now learning that a State Police patrol car was rear-ended in Chemung County.
This photo was posted to the Wellsburg Fire Department Facebook page. The post says the accident happened when the Trooper was responding to a crash on Interstate 86 in the Town of Ashland. It happened around 8 o’clock Sunday morning.
The post goes on to say that there were no serious injuries, and the department wants to remind everyone to slow down when approaching an emergency vehicle.
